Misleading about international delivery and customs charges

I found this website to be very misleading. I ordered from a website called zappychef.co.za (since changed to zappyware.co.za) thinking it was a local retailer. At the time of my order on 22 October 2019 there was no mention on their website that the items were actually coming from overseas and would 1) take very long to arrive, and 2) incur a customs charge. After numerous emails back and forth they finally included a note about this on their website, however they tried to pass it off as if the note had always been there, but it was dated, so it was clear they had only added it after my complaint. It is now 12 December 2019 (7.5 weeks later) and only 1 of the 3 items I ordered has arrived (after I had to fork out more money on customs). I'm still waiting for the other 2 items. To any South African customers who think they are ordering from a local retailer - if you're willing to wait up to 8 weeks for delivery and pay customs on top of the already steep prices then go ahead, but otherwise, I'd steer clear.
