So this venue is nice guys but the service u get from the lady u deal with is un-business like, any fault to keep Ur deposit even if u use their own cleaners for R600 a day she will still find fault and she reads Ur messages and doesn't respond when it's time to pay back Ur deposit of R2000 if u leave a cigarette but she will keep Ur full R2000 and not respond to u at all. U pay R600 for their cleaners but u must pack right the venue urself, pick up bottles and cigarette butts, mop up any spillages u are not advised what the cleaners will really do but u will only hear afterwards and then no further responds after that. The committee then finds it fit like we were told to keep our full deposit without a valid reason. U left cigarette butts on the floor outside and the bin was full and we had some bottles places together because we had no other Bins provided and were not told to perhaps bring our own black bags or even toilet paper to properly prepare. We packed up and sanitised all tables and chairs and made sure counters were sanitised but still we paid their cleaners R600 and were told it's not in their spec after the function to sweep up cigarette butts or place bottles in bins when not enough Bins were provided. Upon checking out Karen could have advised any problem areas but she took the key from us and just didn't communicate back untill we communicated with her about our deposit she said the committee was there early morning and was not happy with the dirty place, my response was but then why was their cleaners not there earlier before the committee arrived. If the cleaners gets paid r600 which was paid in advance then why then now keep our full R2000 deposit and not respond any further to WhatsApps or emails but read it. Its so ********* and also un-business like to do that to just disregard questions asked. I sent messages for days and it gets read with no response. At least advise people bring Ur own black bags and ashtrays and toilet paper for Ur guests to avoid this type of issues and not just decide to keep the deposit. Give good and fair information prior to a function. The venue is beautiful but the management style is not good I took this route of communication as I get no response.
