Terrible after sales service on products sold

I bought a pair of Nike Roshe sneakers mid Sep 2016. I discovered that the grade of knit material used was of a substandard quality when a seam gave up on one of the sneakers which I then contacted Zando complaints about this item.

On 30th January I dealt with a lady named Julia Tom who was very helpful during the course of the complaint. I sent through pictures to Zando as requested therafter I was told that the collection of the sneaker was to be done & that was ended up being a mess up between Zando & the courier company due to lack of communication. I was also told by a call centre agent that a new sneaker requested on my part.

On receiving the sneaker at the Zando HQ in Cape Town I was therafter contacted to say that the sneaker defect was due to ware & tare on inspection, therefater the sneaker would be sent back to me in Jhb.

I then requested to be contacted by a supervisor or manager who attempted to call me once yesterday 20 Feb therefater when I did state (via email to Fazlin - supervisor/manager) that I was available for the call I was not contacted again

22 days later & 36 email replies, I have had no joy with Zando's after sales service.

I have owned sneakers all my life some of which are more than 5 years old & have no defects in the form of broken seams or stitching so I'm still confused how a sneaker can be deemed wear & tare when its under 5 months old'& it could be seen quite clearly that the seem literally gave up on the knit.
