Quick to take money but not to refund

I requested a return on 29 June. I printer the waybill and done what was requested.They collected on 2 July. I called on 5th July and item had not been returned to warehouse. I called again today to be told quality checking will take 3 days then my refund will be started and I must wait another 3 days. WHAT THE HE'LL????? How difficult is it to open the box see the shoes are in the same condition it was sent out and pay me my money back? It's been 6 working days and I'm still being told it might happen on 12th July.
