No Cash-back, No Store credit for a Return!!!

I returned an item. This was purchased during the Zando 3rd Birthday promo (Buy any 3 items and receive the lowest priced item for free).The item returned turned out to be the one I received for free. I was initially advised via the live chat that in this case, I would get store credit. I then when through the process of logging the returns which gave me cash back and store credit as an option. I opted for cash back. I was then advised that I will get not get the FULL value for the item I returned! I was then told I will NOT GET A CENT back! This clearly is not the intention I had when making the purchase of the 3 items.<br> I made a purchase of R1400+ due to receiving the 3rd pair for free which made it worth purchasing and affordable in my case.<br> <br> if I did not return the shoe, I would of had it for free. So I would think store credit would be a fair option to give me the chance to get something else for the same value (R568) and fulfil the terms under which the sale was made.<br> <br> This is not on! it is as good as *****ing from me!
