10 calls and R350 EXTRA just to get my parcel
Beware!

ZANDO is the reason people don't shop online.

Ordered shoes, received a shipping notice that it was on its way. After 6 days of waiting and not hearing anything from them, I called in and queried. Call center chap said he'd look into it and phone right back. Never did. Called in about 6 hours later, and a lady answered, said she'd call me right back, but she only called the next day. Felt so foolish waiting around for them to phone. Anyway, said it would arrive before I left work at 11am, and I actually believed her (I'm used to Takealot's brilliant service). Of course it never arrived. About 7 more phone calls later, lots of excuses, dealing with the driver who didn't speak English, and a hefty phone bill later, I finally got my shoes.

Time wasted ordering a pair of shoes from Zando's = about 1h40min.
Phone bill calling Zando's, the Courier, and the driver = about R106.

My time is worth about R150 an hour, so that's about R250 in time and R106.

Grand total = R350 on top of the order price just to get it delivered. They should be reimbursing me for my purchase, as the purchase amount was less than that.
