Zandi Power Services, Awful Service
On 2 nd May 2021 we purchased a solar package for supply, delivery and installation from you, the package consisted of: 1. Inverter 2. Batteries 3. Solar Panels 4. Battery Stand 5. Distribution Board 6. Set of Solar Panels Brackets 7. Set of Cables Unfortunately, within a day of the installation, the geyser proved defective because the water did not heat and it started leaking like an open hose on the roof of our home, this was communicated, and a decision to terminate that part of the agreement was made with the resolution being a full refund of the geyser payments. As if we were not disappointed enough already with your services you resorted to ******** conspiracy by attempting to send a different quotation with a different company name for insurance payouts, a direct violation to our spiritual and ethical code of conduct that governs our morals. The refusal to participate in your ********** antics evidently severed the relationship between business and client because this is when the intentional acts to cause frustration began, beginning from not taking calls, not responding to WhatsApp messages and text messaging. A request was made to check on the damage the water leak might have caused and to date there has been no effort of such from the business. The workers deployed to install the geyser damaged the ceiling in one of the bedrooms and did not report this damage until we picked up on it and confronted them and only then did they admit to have dropped a hammer from the top of the roof to the ceiling, this was overlooked from our side because we understood that mistakes happen and the repairing was your responsibility, which by the way does not return the newly painted ceiling to the way it was before damage. It was not long after the converter also presented signs of defect. Your treatment as a business towards us was appalling, it was embarrassing to watch and extremely upsetting to experience because the decision to choose your company was weighed by a personal relationship between families. The converter affected Eskom electricity which left the entire house without power and your response to this dilemma was a clear indication of your non commitment to following up with your clients after transactions. We were on the phone for hours with your employees trying to figure out how to restore Eskom power, in the space of those calls your follow ups were nonexistent. This cannot be how you do business, you cannot as a business that prides itself on a mission statement that reads “with us you are always on power” and we were literally without, and you turned a blind eye, yet again. The technician came to collect the converter and assured us that it was still under warranty which meant we should not worry, and it would be returned in a matter of days. In true Zandi Power Services fashion there were delays that were not communicated, timelines that passed with no explanations and of recent a back and forth of unprofessional tones and messaging. The most recent shocker was the communication that the inverter was fixed and ready to be installed after a payment of R850.00 avoiding further inconveniences we requested an invoice and diagnostic report from your service provider that required the fee and immediately after that you again resorted to ignoring calls and all communication. The recent message and picture of a dismantled converter that is apparently ours and in repairs is confusing based on the prior message that all was done, and a fee was incurred, surely you are following these inconsistencies too? I would like to believe that in the many days you came to work in our home you noted that we work from home. Part of our contractual obligations is to have alternative power sources in the event of loadshedding or power failure. Your actions have become an infringement to our professional career which has given me no choice but to resort to steeper measures. This is the first step as stipulated by the relevant authority. The next steps will be more severe to the business than this letter, we will be initiating a full round up from all consumer protection bodies, social media, and any other options to protect our jobs and for us to receive the service we paid for that you have uttered to regretting. You have violated us and dishonored a commitment. Order, respect, integrity, and honor are foundations that leave all bets off if violated. I hope you agree with me that this is not acceptable under any circumstances. I trust that you will deal with this issue in a top urgent fashion. I also trust that you will take the necessary precautions to prevent such incidents in the future.
