Jimmy Choo Eyewear

I have used ZA Khan on the Bluff in Durban for many years and bought many expensive glasses from them over the years, of which the last pair was a pair of Jimmy Choo frames. The frames and lenses came out of warranty this year Feb they told me, 1 year. In May three months out of warranty and travelling back and forth 30km at a time to ZA Khan because they had to keep on heating and bending these frames to fit properly the arm on one side fell off when i opened them to put them on. I was astounded as There was no force and no trauma, just like that, the arm fell off. Now I have Glaucoma and my eyes are deteriorating fast. I asked them what we could do and for 3 weeks I was told they waiting for the Jimmy Choo rep to get back to them. After three weeks they called, now I have had to wear old glasses in this time…, they said I can come in and they will give me a choice of frames to choose from. When i got there, there was 2 frames and nothing close to what i had. I actually broke down and let them fit my lenses in 20 minutes , they don’t even fit properly, there is a gap , but I had to leave there being a very unhappy customer. I have supported them for many years, and this is what they actually treat their customers like. I feel Jimmy Choo and Za Khan Optometrist have done me a huge injustice. ZA Khan could have put the lensss in a cheap frame from the word go and not let my eyes deteriorate by wearing old glasses.
