Better known as Yvonne Domestic Housekeeping or Yvonne Helpers - their site promises complete assistance with experienced and qualified helpers to suite your individual needs, domestics who have been thoroughly screened however what you actually receive is a handful of potential people looking for work - ladies with little or no experience from foreign countries who are unable to find alternate employment.

I had to contact each one to discuss my needs and filter out suitable candidates, each time an arrangement was made for a day and time - I was informed an hour before the individual was due to arrive that she was unable to come in due to the weather or transport and advised she could come on another day.

One had her phone off the entire morning she was due to arrive and only message later that day to with excuses of no electricity, a sick child and that ultimately she was never going to make it at the time i requested and suggested a suitable time for her.

Another was unable to come in due to the walk to the taxi in the morning being dangerous,

The 3rd week I was told the lady did not have an umbrella and could not come due to rains.

The fourth week, the lady advised it was unsafe to walk to the taxi rank in the dark - we were approaching winter and it was dark til later in the mornings.

Each week there was the worry as to wether or not I will be having help or not then being left with nothing at the last minute.

On numerous occasions I had advised Yvonne the ladies are not reliable and I am left stranded too late to even make alternate plans - the response was simply more candidates contact details who have clearly not been screened. On the last occasion - not even a response, seems I was not worth the effort. I had advised Yvonne on numerous occasions the candidates seem to have a don't care attitude and as a working mother I could not afford such unreliable staff however this fell on deaf ears.

Although cheaper than most domestic agencies I assure you the saving is not worth the stress involved as its simply you doing all the work to find someone suitable and I do not believe I would find anyone like that considering the excuses for not being able to attend work from the potential candidates.
