YouLearn - Misleading payment terms

Be cautious before subscribing to YouLearn (https://app.youlearn.ai/ ). I signed up for the 7-day free trial and selected the monthly subscription option for R143.29, intending to start properly in February 2026. I made sure to cancel before the trial period ended — but despite that, my account was charged the full annual amount of R1,030.

When I contacted their support team ( Nawal Marhoume, ***, only a voice mail answer), I was told that since the payment had already gone through, no refund would be made — even though I never authorized or selected an annual plan.

This feels misleading and unfair, so please be extremely careful before entering your card details or subscribing to this service.
