Don't buy Yoco rather buy Capitec

Bought 2 machines, works fine. Now they are starting with a R49 a month connectivity fee per unit and high rates and waiting till Monday night for Saturday trading payouts. I got a Capitec machine for R999 with no connectivity fee and I think about 1.52% and pays out Saturday trading on Sunday morning early. Best move ever!

Hi Peter, we appreciate your feedback and do understand your view on the fees. Due to a few factors, we've taken the decision to lower our fees and introduce a connectivity fee. We do believe that our prices still create accessibility as the cost of the machine is a once-off cost. The connectivity fee applies once a month and will keep you connected to unlimited 4G data for transacting at anytime.

Our maximum rate for card machine transactions is 3.39% incl VAT but can decrease once your monthly volume increases. When you're not using it, there are no charges applicable. You only pay a transaction fee when you transact. You can get an idea of what your rates would be here https://www.yoco.com/za/fees/

All payments are made by EFT and these can take up to 1-2 working days to reflect. You can check out our Payout Guidelines here: https://t.co/HK4Uxi0FJT
We appreciate your concerns and take your feedback seriously.
