****** leptop at the YMCA residencial place. The suspect was not checked before leaving the premises

My daughter lost her lapto inside thr residential place. Noluthando Shelembe. On the 27th of September my daughter's laptops was ****** at the residential place. According to her she had gone to main campus and had asked a student in the study area to look after her things. When she came back her laptop had been taken by a man that had asked to use the bathroom and was let inside the building without any supervision by security whatsoever. From what I know, all residences require some sort of identification before entry but the security failed to do so

This makes me worry that my daughter is not safe at your residential place. If someone can come and ***** something as big as a laptop it also raises a huge concern that the security is not tight. The company should be held liable to replace my daughter's laptop because a study area is a safe place or students to study. If the stranger had not been let into the building, the laptop would have not been taken .This laptop is still new and I bought it cash I cannot afford to buy another laptop and exams are around the corner. She cannot be studying at school at night.I emailed Mzo the residencial manager on the 9th she has never responded. The security was very neglegent to let the stranger in and out without being searched. The case was opened at the police station but they cant find thr suspect as he had used **** documents to access the building.
