Very poor withdrawal experience, would not suggest using YesPlay

I want to share my full experience with YesPlay to help other players avoid unnecessary stress and delays. I submitted an EFT withdrawal of R8,286 early in the morning on 05 February 2026. My account was already fully FICA verified, which YesPlay support later confirmed in writing. Despite this, my withdrawal remained marked as “Pending” for an extended period with no approval. Over multiple live-chat conversations, I received inconsistent and changing explanations. Initially, I was told withdrawals over R1000 are approved within a short timeframe. Later, support began referring to 24 hours, then 72 hours / 3 business days, and eventually said the delay was due to “internal review” and “high demand”. What was most frustrating is that no one could confirm whether the withdrawal had actually been approved, and chats were closed while the issue was still unresolved. Support repeatedly referred to bank processing time even though the withdrawal had not yet been approved, which are two different stages. I then reviewed YesPlay’s Help Page and Terms & Conditions myself. The Help Page clearly states that withdrawals exceeding R1000 are subject to approval and may take up to 2 hours. The Terms do not mention a 72-hour approval period or allow approval to be delayed indefinitely due to internal processes. After calmly pointing this out to support and advising that I had contacted the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board for guidance, the situation changed very quickly. The withdrawal was approved and the money was paid into my bank account immediately. This confirmed that there was no bank delay at all and that the earlier delay was entirely internal. I’m relieved the funds were paid, but the process was far more difficult than it should have been. Clear, consistent communication upfront would have avoided days of unnecessary back-and-forth. Advice to other players: • Screenshot YesPlay’s Help Page and Terms before withdrawing • If your withdrawal stays “Pending”, ask directly whether it has been approved • Do not accept “72 hours” explanations while approval hasn’t happened • Keep all chat transcripts and stay calm and factual • If you get stuck, contact the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board for guidance Being informed, patient, and procedural is what finally resolved this.
