Overnight courier is a lie

Paid for overnight delivery to receive it many days later, I should have looked at hello peter before continuing with the service, and bare in mind I ordered on Wednesday and Thursday when I called they let me know that my package would arrive at the end of the day, I waited and waited and no package the Friday morning I called only to discover the package is still in the warehouse and was not put to be delivered, I then also only received a waybill number on the Friday and was told my package would come on Monday, why would I choose an overnight package when I dont need my package urgently, I have a event today and I bought two outfits for backup and now I have nothing, no consideration is given to the service we have paid for and when I ask to speak to management they tell me the manager not in today, please people look at hello peter first before purchasing! I am frustrated and disappointed and have to cancel my even because I dont have an outfit.
