Sell by dates on products called packaging dates to avoid accountability
They sell expired goods and refuse to accountability once called out. I placed an order with them on the 2nd June and on the 3rd i realized that one of the products was off, i wrote to them and their consultant Anele decided to send me a R20 voucher which was supposed to my change from the order(i made a cash payment). They requested pictures of the expired goods, which lead me to realize more than one of their products were past their sell by date. I sent the pictures of the products with both the package and expiry dates on them. All three (avo/brocolli and corn) had gone past their sell by dates. They sent me a R20 Yassir voucher saying that''s the change I was supposed to receive from their store/driver. I asked about the expired good and sighted that I was not happy with the service. I spoke to a different consultant Nonza, she also sent me the R20 voucher and said she cant help with the rest of the refund request and would escalate and she'd get back to me but never did. I contacted them again today and now Anele again tells me they'll refund the one product(yogurt) because it clearly has an off taste and the picture also says so. She says their fresh produce does not have a standard expiry date, it is assumed fine unless it shows signs of defect. The expiry date on the product she explained as a packaging date which they wrote twice. I am now waiting for their driver to bring back my change and theyre admitting that they sold me expired goods but choose to refund me according to their preference. BTW your customer service needs a lot of work YASSIR.
