Yamaha Amplifier(sad face)

I have two RX model amplifiers, one a bit older than the other. They are or were by no means cheap run of the mill units, considered to be amongst the best. Well, I will never by a Yamaha audio unit ever again, and I urge any one reading this stay away if you want your unit to last. Both of my units mother boards(I believe) cause the sound to drop of completely, first it's intermittent until it's just gone forever. I'm also told by the technician repairing the unit that he see's many Yamaha Amps with this problem, and for the most it's too expensive to repair.
