Yamaha approved installer Johan Bosch gives atrocious service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Mr Johan Bosch is a Yamaha approved audio-visual installer. Trades under different names, HiFi Connection, Sweet Staccato(PTY)Ltd Reg. No ***. Started off good, ended terribly. Sold me high end Yamaha Amp (RXA 3080), which he was replacing with my lightning damaged Denon, which did not fit into my TV unit after he had already been there several times during his assessment of my damaged AV equipment. Told me he could install by cutting into my cupboard, which he did but again got the size wrong and had to move to the other end of the cupboard and had to cut the unit a second time. Broke my Playstation during the installation and told me my new 65inch tv was faulty which I then figured out myself it wasn't. He had been trying to connect my Playstation to my Media player. After he left I found he hadn't connected the subwoofer properly and had also scratched the display of the new amp in the process. These 2 issues he resolved but after he left a second time I noticed that my zone 2 speakers were not working. He told me to download the manual and figure it out for myself even though I had paid him for the installation. He tried to sell me a bogus story that he could not have broken the playstation and said his technician would certify it as "voltage overload" so that I could claim from insurance, which would have been ***** and also would have negatively impacted my insurance premiums. When I told him to place the Playstation he simply told me our relationship "wasn't working out" and that he's not interested in helping me anymore. I contacted Yamaha South Africa who empathised with me but simply told me to contact consumer complaints commission...so no real accountability . STAY AWAY.
