Ridiculous conduct

My email account that I have had for the past five years literally disappeared overnight. Every time I try to sign into my account I get an error that says that yahoo does not recognize my account and none of my recovery details are recognized either.

I couldn't understand what was going on. I tried to re-register the same username because I need to be reachable on that address. But alas that "username was not available" because it's already in use.

I lodged a complaint to which I just got a reply that yahoo can terminate an email address that did not adhere to yahoo's policies and procedures. That's it. No other explanation as to what on earth I have sinned. Nothing.

I am livid! I cannot retrieve ANY of my emails or contacts! Nothing! I have many emails that are very important for reference and future use. Besides the fact that just about every subscription that I have is connected to that address.

I will never again use yahoo as my primary email provider, nor will I support them in any way. And I will definitely spread the word.
