Sold a Faulty iPad, Yaga Did Nothing to Help

I recently bought a iPad through Yaga. When it arrived, everything seemed fine—until I tried to activate it and found it was iCloud locked. This means I can’t use the device at all. The seller never disclosed this in the listing, which makes it a hidden flaw.

I contacted Yaga support immediately after discovering the issue, but was told there’s “nothing they can do” because I had already clicked “Item Received.” This is incredibly disappointing. How is a buyer supposed to know there’s a serious problem like an activation lock before setting the device up?

Yaga claims to protect buyers from dishonest sellers, but in my case, they completely washed their hands of the situation. I’m now stuck with a useless device and no support.

Buyers beware: once you click “Item Received,” Yaga will not protect you—even if the item is faulty. I expected better.
