My DVD player is lost!

On 06/03/2015 I handed my DVD player into XTS Cellular for a quote. I was told they would get back to me in a day or so, nothing serious just the power supply. I waited and heard nothing so called in at the shop on 12/03/2015, they now knew nothing about it. Asked again the following day, nothing. On 16/03/2015 I asked to speak to the manager, who of course knew nothing. I phoned him and eventually he said the DVD player had been found in another workshop and would be delivered to the shop that day. Nothing. I phoned him again this morning and he assured me it would be delivered today. Can I believe him? 11 days and not even a quote.
