XTREME CHURCH

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing a review about XTREME Life Church Plettenberg Bay. We were recently introduced to this church by a friend, and our Physiothe****** is also a member. Members are invited to talk about their lives and how faith saved them from many dire situations. The elder, Charl, was asked by my wife if she could also talk about her experiences. She has a life threating disease, our youngest son lives in Australia and is seriously ill, and my wife recently lost her brother and his wife. She wanted to explain how her faith assisted her in changing my son's belief system, as well as her brother and his wife prior to their passing. We have attended the church on 3 occasions, and Charl told both my wife and I that we were new to the church and must send him a WhatsApp regarding what she wanted to talk about, so that the committee of elders could decide whether to let her talk. This so-called elder lacks compassion, is rude and is not a "good" Christian. This particular church and the elders are no name brands. Rather go to an established church - Catholic, Anglican, Methodist and so on. I am shocked at his attitude, and other church members have told me that he stepped down some time ago due to his attitude. Now he is back - he talks the talk but does not walk the walk. There are many other stories but make up your own mind. Christianity means Christ within. He is clueless, and most of the people there are your traditional "happy clappers". Do some community outreach programs with those who need salvation. Shocking small man syndrome.
