xtraspace keeps your deposit and does not refund you.
On the 28th February I rented storage space and paid a deposit of R1 890 as well as rent to end March of R2 015. On Saturday 10th March I moved my items out of the storage and was told that a cancellation form would be emailed to me on Monday the 12th that I had to complete and email back to ensure that I would be refunded by Friday the 16th. When I did not receive an email on the Monday, I sent the storage company an email requesting the cancellation form and to ensure that I was refunded on Friday the 16th. To date I have not heard anything from xxtraspace.
