Storage Theft
Shame on Xtraspace Storage in Airport Industria!!!I'm going to put this short and sweet. After 3 years of having all my hard earned possessions in Xtraspace Storage I came back to Cape Town only to find that 95% of my belongings had been ******. Sentimentental belongings that's what hurts the most !!!!!!went through the whole senario with the police and CEO of the company . Well the end result was that 2 of their staff were dismissed due to failing Polygraph test.....and nothing more has been done. I recommend to everyone out there when you have your life belongings in storage take out your own Insurance don't take it for granted that your possessions are safe!!!!! My heart is still sore but I know that they will be dealt with in time. The Lord says "DO NOT *****"

We assisted with an internal investigation (hence two employee's were dismissed immediately after a disciplinary process) and assisted the police with all information gathered and will continue to do so in the ongoing investigation.
There is nothing, unfortunately, that we can do to replace your sentimental belongings and we are truly upset that this is the case. Yes, I agree with your sentiments noted in your post that you should insure your goods personally, as this is stated in our contracts and strongly encouraged to all our customers on storing with us.
