WORST CAR DEALER EVER

If you like dealing with compulsive lying people please go ahead and buy a car form Xquisite Auto. They will not disappoint you if you are looking for a salesman who lies about the condition and service history from the start of purchase then promises to have the car delivered to you the same week as you paid the deposit and finance has been approved and then having to fly down to weeks later to collect the car your self because between the salesman Prakash, Renesh and the manager Imraan they came up with every excuse in the book as to why the car was not delivered.

Car was sold to me as a 2011 Golf 6 R with a full service history and absolutely no money to be spent and stock standard. This was the only reason I was willing to pay the huge price tag on the vehicle.

So I pitch up in Durban to collect the car 2 weeks after they were supposed to deliver and would you believe it I am kept waiting for 2 hours because the car is not at the dealership even though they know I was coming to collect it. Never the less the car arrives and straight away it is obvious that it has an aftermarket decat exhaust on it.

I look in the car for the service book which is no where to be found but they assure me that the car does have a full service history and they will email it to me they even sell me a Motorvaps Warrantee that clearly states it does not cover vehicles that have been altered to increase performance on does not have up to date services.

As we get to Pinetown the airbag light on the cluster goes on and I immediately phone Prakash who speeks to his manager and I am told that their workshop in PTA would sort it out. I also tell Prakash that there is no way that the care is standard and his response is he's manager assures him there has been no alterations done to enhance the performance of the vehicle. This was proven to be a lie when the car was strapped to a dynometer and made 15 kw's more than standard and visual proof that the ECU had been tampered with. I am still waiting for them to reply with the name of the institution who did the alteration.

I decide to take the car to Dekra for a full technical check on my own account. Test done the results come back with the car having 8 faults on the ECU and the brake disks and pads needing to be replaced as well.

I am instructed to take the car to their RMI approved shop in Centurion where they fix all of the faults on the ECU except the fuel pressure problem and they refuse to replace the brakes. After a massive fight They agree to pay for the part if I pay for the labor and the brakes are replaced. They also remove the transfer case which had a broken flange and was leaking oil send it down to Durban to be repaired and re fit it to the vehicle. They also fixed a **** load of open wire connections in the engine bay.

Still we are stuck with the fuel pressure problem that Xquisite Auto refuse to address. I am left having to fix it on my own which I do.

So , one would think that is the last of it and we can now move even though they where not willing to fix the problem from their side.

You would be mistaken. 2 weeks later driving in town the car suffers a catastrophic transfer case failure. You probably asking how this is possible after they had just fixed it ? Well the answer to that is very simple. Neither the Gearbox workshop in Durban nor their RMI approved workshop in PTA checked the oil level in the transfer case before it was re installed. Draining the oil before removing it there was only about 100ml of oil in the transfer case and not 1.1 liters as it should be.

So I take pictures of the situation and send it to Xquisite along with the quote for the replacement transfer case to which they reply they will not be paying for anything and they would prefer if I bring the car back to Durban and cancel the deal. I then tell them that I am not interested in cancelling the deal and they need to fix the car as it was their workshop that was negligent and cause the breakdown. I even say to then that I would pay the labor they just need to pay for the part but the answer stayed a resounding no.

They wanted to tale the easy way out but unfortunately I had already spent in the region of R50K on the car myself and I was not going to give up. I even said I would allow them to exchange the car but they had no interest

So I ended up having to pay another R19K out of my own pocket to fix the car with the owners of Xquisite not even having the ***** to take my calls or reply to my messages.

Getting back to the service history on the car I had to bed the manufacturer to give me the details as Renesh simply was not coming to light with the information because he knew they were lying about the cars history.

Car was serviced on the following intervals 15 000km's 30 000km's 45 000km's 60 000km's 105 000km's Then it missed the following services 75 000km's 90 000km's 120 000km's major service cambelt change 135 000km's

I have sent them this information and weeks ago and they have not responded as to why they **** to me or how they going to compensate me as I believe I paid way to much for the car based on their lies.

So yes please, I you feel like you want to be shafted please contact Xquisite Auto, they will be more than willing to assist.
