Xpert Glass Solutions, Glen le Sueur – Contractor Issues

We contracted Xpert Glass Solution in 2023 for glass and aluminium services, the job was mainly premium items (Slider doors, larger entrance door, bathroom sliding doors and triangle roof enclosure etc). Through the process of installation, we had issues of poor workmanship, we continued to engage with the owner Glen le Sueur and advise him on the issues and in most cases obvious poor workmanship or quality of final product. This process was a challenge as we as the homeowners had to point out the issues and only then was it actioned to try and rectify, in some cases we rather used our building contractor to assist to fix as he has also raised quite a few concerns. Work was completed end 2023, with a 1-year warranty.

Xpert glass solutions, the owner Glen le Sueur guaranteed us top quality products and service, but what a struggle. The problem we have now is that he is not adhering to his warranty as we/our builder have picked up a major issue on the glass installed in our roof enclosure, chips and a major crack (we have not cleaned the glass panels since the last installation as we had other work to still do, builders pointed the broken panels when they came to do a snag list and made sure we saw it before they started). This specific item was a major challenge for Glens team as they had to re-do this a couple of times as we picked up skew panels etc, the chips and cracks are from the last installation and worse of all his time would have seen it and they did not mention anything. This glass can be a hazard and if it comes loose, it could endanger a person or damage property.

We have attempted numerous times to contact Glen (emails, WhatsApp and telephone calls) and he does not respond, got through to him a week ago as I used another number, said he would come back to us and still no action. We suggest if you are considering using his services, you consider the above challenge’s we had and continue to have with him and his business.
