Xiaomi after sales support non existent

Don't buy Xiaomi Mobile phones Xiaomi after sales spares and service is non existent.

I have Xiaomi note 4. The charging port is worn and is in need of replacement as the charging cable falls out once plugged into the phone.

The battery also drains within less than 2 hours and needs replacement.

The store where I bought the Xiaomi phone , Hi fi corporation does not provide any after sales service.

The MI Xiaomi store at Canal walk , Century City also does not keep any batteries , or screens or any other spares. Xiaomi at Canal walk also refused to give a quote to supply and fit a battery and new charging port. I was told they need to send it to Joburg branch for a quote and they will charge you for the quote if you do not accept it ( Day light *******)

I have decided it is easier to dump the Xiaomi brand and am now the proud owner of a Huawei P50 pro. You can have your Huawei screen or battery changed while you wait. Will not go back to MI as their after sales service and support is dysfunctional and non existent. No other non Xiaomi cell store keeps spares for this brand either. Management at canal are arrogant and have a don't care attitude.
