Don't buy Xiaomi phones until they have a better presence in South Africa

Redmi 4x is a great phone. But support and screen protectors and covers are really hard to find. I bought my phone at a Vodacom store. The rep for the phone promised a cover because there were none in the store for sale. Not even tempered glass to help with basic protection. And luck would have it that I dropped my phone. Now I have to figure out who can repair it. It's not a good idea to go for these new phones until they have a proper presence in South Africa.
