Bad Customer Service Experience from Xerox

Monday I was at work and I had to receive a delivery from Xerox for a newly ordered printer. Firtsly in the morning when I checked about the delivery I was told it would be delivered but the delivery time is unknown.

I accepted it as normal.

I took lunch at 1:30pm that day and returned at 2:15pm to find a disgruntled Xerox personeel mad I was late for the delivery. He himself had arrived at 2:00pm.

I speciffically apologised by saying I was on lunch ( which by the way is an hour) and I had tried to verify delivery times earlier. He firstly specifically told me I have no right to check such. He is the delivery man and he is the only person who knows delivery times.

Then during the unloading of the Printer, he has a rude undermining demeanour towards me , regardless of the fact there are colleagues in the office and after unloading everything has the gall to reprimand me for asking which I need to check to accept the delivery. Unfortunately for me, he also had to returned because he had forgotten a delivery note and still he didnt even greet but simply came into the office and my workstation desk to demand the forgotten document.

I called the local Xerox office whom he works for and was told by his manager they apologise but he is not usually that way and they sorry.

Today I had a visit from a Technican who also works at the same branch and I had met him earlier for the delivery of the machine and he had assisted professionally. Yet, Today, I get a knock from the office door and he tells me to open the gate while taking on the phone. No Hello. No Information about what he is doing here. Nothing.

He walks into the office, straight to the machine and I watch as he is on the phone for almost 3 minutes discussing a personal call while working on the machine. Still no indication of what he is doing or purpose of this visit.

After he is done with his call and decides to come talk to me. I ask for reason of his call and explain it is not professional customer service to do what he did.

Hence now I am taking the time to write this. Xerox thank you for ensuring the though you have great products, you have terrible customer experience service.

Best regards,

I won't open the door to Xerox next time
