Xenel Engineering owned by Tinashe Mazuruse is a disgrace

My backyard renovations by Xenel Engineering owned by Tinashe Mazuruse. I contracted Xenel to do a backyard renovation for me of concrete paving and building a patio. I got a quote of R113 000 from one contractor and R129 000 from Tinashe. I chose Tinashe as expensive as he was because I hoping that I am paying more to get quality work. The opposite was true. The finished work is crumbling and cracking and literally falling apart. Tinashe demanded full payment long before the job was finished and threatened that if I don't pay he won't finish. After paying him 100% of his amount, Tinashe failed to pay one of his subcontractors and the subcontractor threatened to take down what he came to build. On top of R129 000 I already paid, I had to pay the subcontractor an additional R5500 to stop him from demolishing his work. Tinashe promised to pay me back that money and to fix his terrible work. As I write this it's been exactly 2 months and I have not seen a cent and my backyard is still not finished inspite of all these monies I have paid. I have reported him to the ombudsman. He now says his bank account has been blocked by FNB. Think about that - banks don't block accounts of reliable customers. When I paid him R52 000 deposit before starting work, he said the money was taken by SARS because he was owing SARS. He owes SARS, his bank account is blocked by FNB. Think about that before you give him your money.
