Your lack of urgency in updating my credit report is altering my life and not in a good way.

I am extremely exhausted about XDS. I have no debt that I am owing except on one account that I am making monthly payments towards but my credit report is not being updated and shows 3 accounts as not paid up and in arrears, one for Atlas Finance which is paid up but the report says I am 4 months behind and owe them R168, R168 - how does someone not pay that and end up in 4 months arrears?

The second one is for Blink finance - paid up but my report says I owe them and I am in arrears. The last one is Finance 27 who I have been paying for 3 months now and almost done with them but my credit report says I am in arrears. What is worse is that they are saying on my report that I hav 5 enquiries made on my profile which can’t be because I have not been giving anyone permission to check my credit because I was warned by an external company called Credit Salvage not to do any applications until this is resolved, mind you I had to pat Credit Salvage R2500 in order to sort this mess out and they keep saying they are escalating the matter and waiting on XDS to confirm with them if the update happened.

A lady by the name of Carol from Atlast Finance confirmed I do not owe them any money and sent me a paid up letter - she also escalated the matter to XDS and other credit facilities and was told only 4000 clients’ credit reports have been updated and they are working on it, mind you I have been waiting since March, same as Blink Finance and Finance 27 they tell me they escalated and their hands are tied.

I want XDS, the owners, managers and employees to think and sit down and ask themselves what would they do should they be in this unfortunate situation where you work hard to earn money to be able to either clean your name and build your credit or pay your debts monthly and settle them only for your credit to show that you are a bad payer…without credit in this economy we can’t survive.

Please can someone at XDS assist in helping me with this, I have no other channels to go to, I contacted the people I owed they tried on their side, I paid a company to assist me in handling this they are trying but everyone keeps saying it’s the credit agencies who are slow and not doing their job.

We surely can do better guys. Come on!
