XDS Conduct is a Clear Desperate Yearning for Public Scrutiny upon Themselves and Market Industry

XDS as a credit bureau are given access to millions of South Africans by NCR. My experience and 98% percent of people’s experience clearly shows that XDS is abusing their access not only to information but to the lives of millions of South Africans. I wish Carte Blanche Team (https://m-net.dstv.com/show/carte-blanche/team) can develop an appetite on the tenability of our frustrations. I'm sure all of us here, would be keen to provide substantive information and records to reflect the depth of our frustrations with XDS- XDS listed Mdantsane Court Default Judgement on my credit profile for a period between 2017 to 2019. I went to Mdantsane Court to request the Default Judgement Proof of Existence. Mdantsane Court showed me documents that reflected the Magistrate has never issued anyone a Default Judgement against me . Then I requested XDS to provide me any form of documents or records that show how they ended up listing a Default Judgement under my credit profile. It is now more than 30 days since I requested the information/records, there bureau is refusing to give me the requested records. I requested the credit ombuds to mediate my request to access the records, credit ombuds explain why they could not help. I am now hunting for institutions that can help me receive these documents. The lack of professionalism, level of poor service from XDS and their worse attitude makes me worry about the millions of lives they have access to. I think credit bureaus has never received any due public scrutiny- I think XDS is desperately yearning for public scrutiny. Given that these institutions are privately owned by people with interest on credit provision and debt collection. I these broad interests must amount to public interest for investigative journalism to investigate: (1) conflict of interests, (2) transparency of score calculating formula, (3) their levels of compliance to legislations that are suppose to regulate them (4) the effectiveness of industry self regulation bodies (5) the enforcement capacity of competent authorities (5) the interventions and reporting of trade and industry department minister to parliament portfolio committee on Trade and Industry, most probably the real need for Commission of Enquiry on *******ion in the Credit Market. I think XDS conduct is desperate sharp call for scrutiny of the entire Credit Market and the role of Credit Bureaus. Carte Blanche Team please help us.
