XChange SA (worst company ever)

I would be joking if I say I would recommend this so-called “company” and the person behind all this. Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else.

It all started positive and I got some great help with my visa before departure. Second, compared with other students, my internship was great. However, once I arrived, I immediately noticed that Mrs likes to gossip about people. But this was nothing to be worried about, at that moment.

I, and others were simply dumped in a house which was simply falling apart. Open sewerage in the house which made the house smell terrible every half an hour, rats running through our living room, cold showers in the beginning, washing machine where your clothes come out more dirty then when you put it in, no alarm nor fences to “protect” the people in the house. This attracted many homeless people, of which one slept underneath our window. And, on top of that, leakage in the house. As we only had one small radiator to heat the house, the whole house was terribly cold, miserable and damp. The leakage was already mentioned in month two and it was supposedly “fixed”. Nothing could be further from the truth when a new rainstorm arrived. It rained each two days, so the house was like this all the time. Where water was dripping literally everywhere, dangerously slippery floor. But, as Mrs later said, due to ramadan it would take longer. You know, because literally every roofworker is muslim and cannot work. I checked with an old housemate months after I left, and it has not fixed since.

My housemates and I wanted to talk with her face to face in a professional manner. She emailed us back with “my girl, i am in this business for x years...”. In her way of communicating she obviously felt better than us, belittled us, and if we “complained” one more time, we would get kicked out the house. Lastly, besides gossiping, Mrs also loves to tell you that people “do not like you” or any other negative rumours. We checked these rumours with these people. Nothing was true.

As I can look into the future, I foresee XChange commenting on this review saying it was aaallllll my fault and none was theirs. You will see.

To sum up, terrible way of communicating, terrible company, terrible person.
