Don't ever buy an Xbox their after sales service is SHOCKINGLY BAD! Rather buy a playstation. You won't go wrong. Wish I got a playstation.

I bought a Xbox 1 in the beginning of November it started to give me issues with disconnecting and reconnecting or just disconnecting the controllers (I have tried 3 different controls with a new set of batteries). I phoned Xbox South Africa but apparently they do not do repairs and that I must go onto the Microsoft website and lodge a repair ticket which I did. I received the e-mail from their repairs department telling me that I would receive the waybill from the courier company which I must print and put it on the box and take it to the couriers. No e-mail arrived. So I got in contact with an agent called Monique (a real asset to the company and really helpful and understanding)she said the courier company will pick it up, they never did. She was trying her best to help me but without any luck. So we decided to cancel the old ticket and make a new repairs ticket. Got the same e-mail telling me about the courier and what to do. Still nothing. From what I read from the complaints is that Microsoft don't actually care about customer satisfaction (unless you are in a first world country, then you matter). I really regret not getting a ps4 now with this high level of incompetence. I now will always recommend Playstation over Xbox to all my friends who are in the process of upgrading just because of this pathetic service.
