Xavier Junction DLTC

I have booked to renew my driver's license at Xavier Junction DLTC. I was given a date for today at 12.00mid day. I arrived there at 11:15. The security guards there were turning people away...saying that it is closed...they only take a certain number of people for the day and then close thereafter. I asked them why do we have to book if this is the case. I asked to speak to the manager about this as my employer allowed me to use this day to do this specifically. Then came a man by the name of Bongani. Who refused to give me his surname. I explained that I had app**** for leave to sort this out and now you guys are turning me away. He said we cut off the number of people...therr is nothing we can do...I asked him to give me the reason...he then changed the whole story and said they had closed due to a covid case. I asked him to at least give me proof in writing to produce at work that I was indeed here today and they turned me away due to a covid case. He plainly refused to do it, he said they do not operate in that manner...I must just tell them at work that I was here...he will not give me something in writing at all. I was disappointed with their service and felt that I was treated like trash.. after I followed all the right process to book and renew my driver's licence. They told me I must come back on Monday morning at 8. I asked if they will give me something in writing that I must come back on Monday...they still refused. So the question was what if I come on Monday and you turn me away as you did not give me something saying that I must come back on Monday...this Bongani guy with an attitude asked me what if they have another covid case on Monday as well. So he cannot commit to making sure that on Monday I will definitely renew my licence...
