Client should come first

I had my bakkie spray painted & I will admit they did a good job. Whilst I was there, against my better judgement I asked them to service my bakkie at the same time. They said that I had some sort of oily "gunge" in my radiator & said it was blocked! So they put in a new radiator. Three months down the line my radiator was found to be leaking & when I took the bakkiei in to my people who normally service my bakkie they said it had 3 different leaks. They in the meantime had found that the oil that was leaking into my radiator was from a cracked oil seal? Anyway they fixed that & I took the radiator in to Wynland to see if I could get my money back. I was told they would send it through to the people they bought it from & come back to me. I then received a report that there was a problem with the bakkie & that it was not the radiator but my bakkie causing the holes??? So they would not give the money back! Very strange considering that my original radiator that had been in for 16 years had never had a problem? I feel that in the first place the radiator should never had been changed as it didn't have a problem. The problem was obviously the mechanic that didn't know what he was talking about. And then also, as the client who had spent close to R30,000 with them I should have just been compensated for the radiator. It seems that the client always loses. It's not for me to fight with the radiator company, it's for them to fight with them. I would never recommend them to anybody as I feel they are not looking after the client.
