Refusing to refund to new card number

I purchased an item on wish. When I had received the item. It was not what I had selected and purchased. I purchased a pocket printer and instead received a tiny roll of printing paper. When I consulted wish about a refund. I had mentioned that I had a new card. They then told me I need to approach my bank for assistance. I had offered to give them my new card number. But instead they insisted they could not assist me. And could refund to the old card number. After going into my bank today. They assured me that this was not normal and they are unable to assist with a card that has been blocked. I would like my refund to my new card and I am disappointed in the way wish handled this situation.
