I WISH NOT!

I placed an order with Wish on the 2nd of June. My friends told me about Wish and said that you wait long for your items to arrived, so I was patient and didn't think much of it that the parcel hasn't arrived yet. In the meanwhile, I had my baby and was on maternity leave. I forgot about this order till recently, so I visited the website where it said that the parcel has been shipped/dispatched from China and I saw a parcel tracking number on the site. Tracking #: UM ********** 90CN. So again, I waited patiently. I went onto the website again and clicked on "where's my package?". It shows that the parcel arrived in "destination country". So I took the tracking number, went to the South African Post Office website and searched for it. Nothing came up, so I emailed the South African post office. No response yet-not surprisingly.

I saw that there was an option for refund and clicked on it. I was able to process a refund for 1 item out of 3. I was very surprised that i can get a refund for something that was on it's way to me!

So, I managed to find an email for Wish support and emailed them to ask about the parcel. I was basically told that I'm not going to get my items and also not a refund for it! (The email wordings are very difficult to understand. Seems like it's not someone that is English typing these emails)

Surely this is against any law of any country and the Customer Protection act?!!!! I paid for items. I was never informed that for some reason I'm not going to get it! I was never offered an alternative, a refund or voucher!?? I received NO correspondence from Wish.

They keep on referring me to their Terms and Conditions. This is very convenient, but surely NO terms and conditions can justify THEFT? Because this is what I see it as. They took my money, but gave me NOTHING in return!?
