MISLEADING PROMISES

I needed a vault copy of a South African birth certificate. I found Immigration Assist on the internet with some pretty good reviews, and some very bad ones too. I took a chance and used them. Bad decision. Tanya Beifus asked for 50% deposit, balance payable on receipt of certificate. I rep**** ok go ahead, and then she wanted full fee (R3 950) up front. I reluctantly paid. She advertises 2 to 3 weeks to obtain these certificates. 6 weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything from her. On querying this, she said her "contact" hadn't managed to find it but would look again. I asked her to drop the matter and refund my 50% of the full fee paid. There has been no response and I consider myself ****med. My advice is, don't use them. Vault copies of documents from Home Affairs are difficult or impossible to obtain as the South African archives are sadly inadequate. My advice is be suspicious of anybody who offers to obtain these documents on a fast track basis. You could lose your money.
