Globetravel.co.za leaves me high and dry

<p>I came across this site via cheapflights.co.za. The site looks like a pretty professional booking site and obviously a lot of effort went into making it look ligit. Although I was a bit hesitant at first, I contacted the number and was put through to someone who put me at ease. They sounded like they knew what they were talking about and must have had access to the airlines. I then booked my flight and received a booking reference and confirmation from the airline. The problem came on the return. I received an online checkin email from the airline, but when I tried to check in, there was an issue. I called the airline and they told me that the ticket had not been paid for and that the ticket was cancelled. This left me stranded and I had to purchase a return flight back to JHB.</p> <p> </p> <p>After doing some research, Globetravel is owned by a business called Travel ******, reg number: ***. The office is registered at 0405 Managemnet House, 38 Melle Street, Braamfontein and the Director is Lusi Mthembu.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am going to pursue this further and bring these guys to book. I see a few people are already complaining and i'm happy to pool information in order to build a case against them.</p>
