Charging me the client, the import tax

<p>We ordered 2 breville automatic tea makers from Affordable appliances. After payment was made and courier costs were included we followed up to find out when delivery was due.</p> <p>They informed us that we need to pay an import tax of R2850 before our order can be delivered.</p> <p>This is nowhere stipulated in their terms and conditions and they confirmed it was a mistake on their behalf.</p> <p> </p> <p>"Am so sorry for all the inconvenience i might have cause you. I want you to understand that i will get you the refund for this clearance, just keep the extra units until you get the refund, i will draft the mail for refund right now to the head office.</p> <p>You can proceed with the payment so that they can deliver everything to you today, we are to refund you R2,850 before Monday next week."</p> <p> </p> <p>We have not been refunded or received our order. And we will be submitting a formal consumer complaint.</p>
