Information-sharing site uses visual trick to lock in subscribers

I'm warning users about the strategy used by the www.123helpme.com site to lure users into surprise costs. In large bold text they sell use of information on their site for 2 days at $2, but below this offer, in fine, small italic text, they state if you don't cancel the subscription you will be liable for a month's subscription at $23 which continues until you actually notify them of cancellation. They use a visual trick to divert your eye from the small print and so lock you into a much larger expense. When buying something on line, users don't expect to search the site looking for lock in clauses. You pay for it and the purchase is complete.
