Wvs expandables and steel worx, wvs wonder

On the 10th of April 2024 we paid a 70% deposit for their quote to paint our home and for repairs of window putty etc. This person hasn't showed up to do any work till date. Every time it is new excuses and promises. The car is broken, can't get here, his lifts doesn't show up, kids is sick etc. But every few days he sends watsup that says he sorted the lift problem and will do the work.. We actually tried to be reasonable and even offered to go and pick them up to get the work done, which he declined, with new excuses. It is now 6 weeks since we paid, and nothing has happened, only one excuse after another. They also refuse to pay back our deposit so we can get someone else to do the job. They were also paid fully to rubberize our roof and paint the facias, which they had done after 1 month (we also had to beg them to eventually come and do that work) BUT they promised a guarantee for the work, which we did not receive to date (6 weeks now) and the facias is so badly painted that it is making bubbles and the paint won't last a year. They are totally unreliable and the work is not up to standard. Just a warning for anyone wanting to do business with them. According to their quote the work should've been completed after 15 days.. It never happened and at this stage they just took our money. They also go by wvswonder
