Worst Courier company ever!

So I have a couple of issues that I experienced with Wumdrop.

So I ordered something from Makro, having it delivered. I put in my work address, thinking they don't deliver on weekends. But then they wanted to deliver on the saturday. The driver called me to say they are on their way, but I told him obviously I'm not at work, and I gave my home address. Later I found out on my tracker that it's sent back to the warehouse. I tried calling the driver, no answer. I called Wumdrop. And apparently the driver was supposed to tell me they can't accept a second address. No one communicated that to me. If I had known, I would have made a plan getting to the work place. But besides that, what if we are in such a situation between work and home? Can't they make an exception?

Second. They then promised to deliver the next monday. I would like to add that the communication with their support team was pathetic. Eventually we got hold of them, telling them we need it by 17:00 as our work knocks off at 17:00. They gave the message to their ops. Somehow someone tracked that I had a delivery so I received constant spam messages about deliveries. So please watch out! Anyway, by 16:00 the driver called me and said they are coming from boksburg. My address is in Edenvale, so it wasn't that far out. Just before 17:00 I called them, they are 10 minutes out. Sure I could stay a little. Then I call, no no 5 mins, and it went on and on and our delivery came 17:40, which is way off from what I asked. They said there was a traffic problem, but the distance from boksburg to Edenvale, with traffic, would not take 1 hour 40 mins! I had to stay late otherwise I would miss my delivery again! All my house c****s had to be set aside because I had to wait. There was also almost no one left at work. I was all alone.

Another thing, when they arrived, they came with a bakkie. An open bakkie. Sure there were rope above it, but it was completely exposed (along with other packages), making it very easy for someone to see it and grab it. My package was very valuable. And I don't like how it was exposed like that. Of course they couldn't see what it was, but people will take a chance. Also it made it vulnerable for damages. There's a reason why most courier vehicles are small trucks that keep goods concealed and safe.

I am so unhappy with Wumdrop and I hope that Makro sees all these negative reviews and stop using them as couriers.
