Terrible Service from Wumdrop

I received the WORST service ever from this company. Im someone who does a lot of online shopping and i recieve parcels all the time from various courier companies but i have never come accross such terrible service in my life. I ordered online from Makro and from the follwing day i would get sms that my parcel is out for delivery and i will get a call. on the second day i got a call from a wumsdrop driver by the name of Joseph. He was so rude and he told me that if i want my parcel i need to go and meet him in a parking lot (by the way this so called parking lot will take +- 10 min to walk to get there) he said that he will send me his location so that i go and meet him there. I refused for security reasons (why would i go and meet a stranger in a parking lot) the address on the package was very clear and i even gave a additional details to make it easier but that address was certainly not the parking lot and is not even close to place the driver wanted me to come too. Since I refused to go to the parking lot I asked the driver to come to the address on the parcel, but he refused and cut the call. I tried to call him back but it will ring till it goes to voicemail and he never called back also so he left with my parcel i did not get my parcel on that day.

I called makro and informed them of the experience i had with the courier they chose to deliver my parcel and they said they would follow up and advise wumdrop to call me. Whether this happened or not i never got a call from wumdrop.

Wumdrop then had the audacity to report me to makro that im refusing to accept my parcel and they will not be making further attempts to deliver.

the address on the parcel is not in a shady or unsafe place etc it it within a prominent shopping mall in one of the up-market suburbs.

@ Wum drop chose your drivers carefully and @Makro please reconsider using this service provider
