Makro and Wumdrop have atrocious service
Absolutely ********** service!! I ordered a large appliance on Wednesday and contacted Makro to let them know I would only be available for delivery on Saturday. They assured me that the courier service would call me and confirm delivery for Saturday. Instead I received an sms confiming delivery on Thursday. I called Makro again and was informed that this was just a confirmation sms and they would deliver on the agreed upon date. So now I've been waiting at home all day, it's almost 7pm and I think I've called Wumdrop about 7 times with zero answers. What's worse is that there is no way to track the actual whereabouts of the truck so you're just stuck at home hoping to get your delivery. I will never buy from Makro again or use Wumdrop. So very disappointing.
I called again into Wumdrop and was told that their switchboard is off on Sundays. I then called into Makro and after being put on hold multiple times finally spoke to a lady who told me that Wumdrop does not deliver on weekends. Why was I not told of this when I requested a Saturday delivery? And how does it make sense that Wumdrop collects from your DC but does not deliver on Saturdays? This is the absolute worst service I've received from any retailer and courier service. It seems like noone knows what's going on or advising customers correctly. Just terrible
