WS Thatching , Owner Werner - ***** Case opened in Pretoria against contractor

In July 2023 Werner from WS Thatching was asked by his client to leave their property and to not come back. He could not finish their roof project. He purchased the thatch roof tiles from my company. In February 2024 Werner from WS Thatching took more than R100 000 deposit from a client in promise of fitting thatch tiles on their thatch house. The client contacted me 3 weeks after paying him to find out if I perhaps have heard of him or know him. I then had to share with the client the previous unfinished project he left behind in Pretoria. The client informed me that he paid Werner a deposit 3 weeks ago and the work was supposed to start 3weeks ago and Werner is awol with his money. The client then discovered that 4 other clients in his area had received and experienced poor service from WS Thatching. A case for ***** was opened at Lyttleton police station on 20 February 2024 , with Case no CAS 360/2/2024, for ***** of over R100 000. The case is currently being investigated. I will update the public should further developments occur.
