I took my BMW 318i to Willem Lubbe of WS Auto Services in mid 2019 after the motor had been seized by another automotive mechanic Isaak (Sakkie) Oosthuizen whom had driven my car all over Pretoria without my permission when he was only to have serviced it with strict instructions not to drive my car anywhere. Willem Lubbe also have me specific dates in 2019 by when he would complete the work and promised to give me a 40 000km warranty on the enjine after he built it. Willem Lubbe kept calling me asking for more and more up front payments and stated that the enjine had siece damage in the one piston barrel as well as the piston being damaged so that he said he would have the block bored and fit oversize pistons. Everytime the date of completion cane Willem Lubbe came with another excuse! Such that he had been on Holliday in December 2019 and January 2020. Then that he had to move out of the house at his premisses in tenth Ave as he had found his wife cheating. Thereafter that he was looking for new premisses. He had also taken my car to his father's house and left it out in the yard with no cover or protection. Once he had new premisses in Queenswood Willem spent his time fixing other vehicles. During the lockdown in 2020 he made excuses of not having a permit to travel. And so it went on. Eventually after August 2020 it seemed as if he was starting to do something on my car and continually came up with excuses of this part then that part being missing. This after he had moved my car to three different locations. I sourced all the parts that Willem was claiming were missing and bought them. Willem Lubbe continuously fave me specific dates by which he would complete building my car's engine and every time he failed he has some or other family crises excuse such as being in court for custody battles or his father being sick etc. By the end of 2020 Willem Lubbe had completely assembled my BMW s enjine but failed to start my car. He then claimed that the battery would not charge. In fact the battery that Willem described was not the battery that my car had originally. So I bought a new battery. Willem Lubbe then claimed that the electricity was not getting through to the starter and took the car to a auto electrician without me knowning. I paid the auto electrician and Willem was supposed to come and start my car and put back the bonnet and the bumper. Since December 2020 Willem Lubbe has failed to do this simple thing and making one feeble excuse after the other. The latest is that his father is in the hospital. Willem Lubbe also gave instruction to the auto electrician Lewis he used of Moot auto electrical services to tow my car to his father's house in 9th Ave Gezina where he left my car out in the rain and thunder storms and sun sins the 4th of December 2020 for four months without informing me about this. Expert opinion that I have received informed me that there is most likely now water damage to the computer and fuze boxes of the car as well as the black leather appostery been Ng damaged by months in the summer sun! Willem Lubbe rarely answers phone calls and until date has not provided me with any official invoices for the monies he requested me to pay him although he has promised to do so countless of times and failed to do so always telling me lies. I have now been forced to start litigating to get my car out of his father's yard and have to take it to be assessed so that I can proceed with damages claims against Willem Lubbe of WS auto services. A most dishonest individual full of lies and empty promises that is out there ******** unsuspecting members of the public.
