W&R SETA POOR SERVICE REGARDS BURDARY PAYMENT

one of the student who was awarded the W&R SETA bursary last year November, Im currently furthering my studies at the University of Fort Hare, East London campus. Last year I did not recieve any allowances because of some glitches in the contract, that was what I was told.

This year on the 8th of June to be precise, an invoice was submitted to the W&R SETA head office and was said it would take 30 days to be processed and after that the payment would be made to my institution. With that said, the 30 day cycle has long ended and the payment has not been made and there is no indication of what seems to be the hold up, instead we keep receiving excuses.

I believe that in any organisation the should be some hasty measures into place when dealing with such situations because this has been dragging for a very long time. I and other students have wrote emails in several occasions and in those occasions our quiry has not been resolved successfully, we even escalated this issue to the W&R SETA Eastern Cape Regional Manager Mr Mzamo Matyobeni but unfortunately he never rep**** to any of our emails. Furthermore, this impact us negatively on academics because online learning has commenced and we're disadvantaged because of the lack of resources to engage to it.
