Unacceptable Customer Service and workmanship

WP Tyres came out to replace a tyre on one of our trucks. A week later my driver reported a banging sound coming from the back of the truck. We had the truck towed to UD trucks and was told that the nut was not secured, resulting in the stud entering the drum assembly damaging hub, brake linings, brake shoes, drum, brackets, sensor springs.

We called in a forensic expert to confirm how the damage was caused and he confirmed that the person that changed that tyre was the cause of the damage.

When we contacted Bradley, the owner of WP Tyres and told him that the bill to fix the truck was R47 000.00, he laughed and said he does not have money. I asked him to come to a compromise however he refused to assist in any way.

As he does not belong to the Retail Motor Industry, they could also not assist. UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP.
