Not happy with WP Blood Transfusion Services

So I received an invoice some time late last year which was dated 2019 for over R 3 000 which needs to be paid. However this invoice is a cancellation of blood which Cape Gate Hospital ordered, and I was told to go to Louis Leipoldt to receive the blood there. Now the WP Blood Transfusion is asking me to pay for this, which was not my doing. Should the hospital have known that there is a cancellation fee and why should the patient pay for it as I was totally unaware of this situation.
